We sadly say goodbye to our partner Attorney Jerry A. Gambino, who passed away in early June after a short illness. He will be missed by his family, his colleagues, and the WNY community he lived to serve.
Mr. Gambino earned bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business management from the State University of New York University at Buffalo in 1980. He received his law degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law in 1983. He has held a license to practice law before all New York State courts, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York since 1984.
Mr. Gambino was a member of the New York State Bar Association belonging to the general practice, compensation, labor law and torts, and insurance and compensation sections. He spent more than three decades tirelessly recovering full and fair compensation in the workers’ compensation cases of injured New York residents in Buffalo and Niagara Falls, and in the counties of Erie, Niagara, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, and Genesee. He prided himself on aggressively pursuing justice for those clients while treating them with compassion and personalized attention.
In his personal time, Mr. Gambino stayed connected to the community through a variety of legal and professional organizations. His memberships included the Injured Workers Bar Association and the Western New York Chapter of the Labor and Employment Relations Association. He also served on the Bar Association of Erie County’s eminent domain and tax certiorari committee, labor law committee, and workers’ compensation committee.
