There are many mistakes that clients may make in the beginning of a worker’s compensation case, but the biggest mistake I often see is a reluctance to file a claim. Worker’s compensation law requires an injured worker to file a claim within 30 days, specifically to notify their employer within 30 days of the accident. The biggest help with that issue is to contact our office right away so we can file all relevant paperwork in a timely fashion.
